I'm writing this all down because after exams i tend to forget what i wanted to do in my moments of stress.

me: oei. *poke*
daryl: ...don't want.

me: i'll pay for your losses.
daryl: OK. *jump off bed and troops to play mahjong*

i've never thought i'd actually like being blur, but i prefer the times when i thought things wouldn't really get that political after all. i'm really sorry that things turned out like that, and i'm praying that it won't continue this way :/

 came back from CI club chalet at 3.30am, after a mahjong session where i lost spectacularly to zuohan with my hair smelling like BBQ.

so i decided to go take a shower.

whilst in the shower i decided to do a QC check to determine whether the massive amount of scrubbing actually got rid of the BBQ smell.

so i sniffed.

and ended up inhaling a lot water through my nose.

i'm having a damn loser moment right now. D:

staying in hall and being in uni has changed me.

i am no longer uncomfortable with my phone not being fully charged.

 every sunday i vow not to return to the hall until monday morning just in time to have lunch with regina. 

...but somehow every sunday this vow is broken.

it's like this weird attraction. not different from the way a fly is drawn to a bug zapper.

 today we celebrated gabby and rajes' birthday! to sum it up: topman voucher, nicely done sisterhood signboard by heather, dorothy perkins necklace and purple star "boyfriend" balloon as deemed by rajes. oh and we had the celebration at ion's fish and co., so it entailed a nice, lengthy, embarrassing birthday rap from the staff and a free polaroid!

heather and i are the greatest liars on earth :D you should really open a birthday planning company fiance!

 my heart aches when i see my grandmother reading the obituaries so intently. wonder if i'll be like that when i'm her age.

 sometimes a little solitude is just what you need.



and that was exactly how i spent today. no, i am not going emo-nuts. travelling back to school and then later, back home, was rather soothing (although not for my right shoulder, which bore the brunt of the weight of the work i had to carry back).

arrived in NTU before i realized that: BANANAS. I FORGOT MY KEYS. AGAIN. and it just so happened that the hall office was closed for lunch. so i wrapped up my long john silver's lunch and stuffed it in my bag and headed off to ADM to look for my movie. i spent 30 minutes trying to find my film and thinking i was an idiot before i finally conceded defeat and asked the librarian for help. that was when i realized that my film was not on the shelf; she had it stored in one of the cabinets in one of the rooms. and i got chided for watching my film too early. lol. 

so after i ripped the movie off the dvd, i waited in ADM library for 1 hr and a half to make it seem like i actually watched the film and i didnt practice piracy, before i headed back to hall, went to the hall office and requested for spare keys, ate my soggy LJS and packed my stuff. left at 1645 to try beating the rush hour crowd. but guess what: i still got caught in the rush hour crowd AND i left the letter i needed to open my OCBC account in the room, which i had intended to retrieve.

thinking back it was a really shitty day BUT i really enjoyed spending time alone. makes me feel independent somehow :D heheheh. like a kid who's just learning how to walk!

 my mind hasn't quite absorbed the fact that recess week isn't really meant to be a recess. 

and my dear cherie thio, there's nothing wrong with smiling in my sleep. it means i'm happy! that's gotta be healthy somehow. :D 

 

last night's mass msn conversation went from a discussion about the outing next tues, to FOC, and finally digressed to too much enthusiasm about pokemon. now everyone is tagged as a pokemon on facebook, it's frickin hilarious! jian xuan has the honour of being magikarp AND golbat (cos he looks like magikarp but he has a big mouth), marcus is vulpix because he's vain, kai shi is psyduck cos she's always confused, teh peng is machamp because he likes flexing his muscles...the list goes on. i managed to snag vaporeon because kang wei was nice and let me choose, and also because i have blackmail material on marcus heheheheh. dead useful.

the hilarious shit ensued for 3 hours hahahaha. gotta love bocelli!

 

just came back from watching the F1 practice sessions at mummy's office in raffles place (: never thought it was so fun to watch cars zoom around the track. after eating dinner and spending about 3 hour watching from a bird's eye view in the meeting room on the 30th floor we went down to catch a bit of live action. pity that all we saw were flashes of the cars zooming past. fantastic audio though! the engines were deafeningly loud, really created the atmosphere (:

while waiting for the practice to begin my brother was watching last year's F1 footage taken from kimi raikkonen's car.

being in GV12 has rekindled my love for the lord of the rings, i stayed up last night half-studying and half-watching lotr behind the scenes footage on youtube. had a hard time trying not to laugh out loud at all the bloopers! :D one day when i'm free (if that will ever happen) i shall lock myself in my room and have a lord of the rings marathon heheh.

well stuff has happened recently and there's a new responsibility on my shoulders now. although i'm pretty excited and happy bout this, there are some who might not be feeling the same. i really hope that these people who have already chosen to step up would continue to do so (: it would be my pleasure and honour to work with you!

ok now i need to go sort of my thoughts for cell bible study tmr. taaaa :D
